We are seeking is seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Team Leader to join engineering department in a thriving and growing food manufacturing site Tewkesbury. This role will provide on-the-floor support to our Engineers, ensuring the smooth running of production and distribution operations across our busy site.Days worked: Week 1: Mon-Sat 06:00-14:00 (6 shifts), Week 2: Mon-Fri 13:45-21:45 (5 shifts) Start Times: 06:00 onwards, with finish times based on production demandsPay: 20.51 - 21.51, plus OT of 1.25 x hourly rate after 40 hrsThe Role - Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Engineering Manager in delivering departmental goalsSupervise, train and mentor Engineers, utilising team skills effectivelyCoordinate and deliver planned preventative maintenance schedulesRepair and test electrical and mechanical plant equipmentLead effective fault finding and resolution for high-speed automated machineryAssist with departmental paperwork, records and compliance requirementsMentor Apprenticeship candidates as appropriateDeputise for the Engineering Manager and cover for Engineers when requiredParticipate in equipment breakdown call-out rotaAbout You - Skills and ExperienceMinimum of an electrical-based apprenticeship qualification - essentialExperience of high-speed machinery in FMCG or a similar production environment - essentialStrong electrical fault-finding skills - essentialExperience working with automated machinery - essentialPrevious supervisory or people management
