Job PurposeEnsure efficient and optimal use of capital in Europe, MEA and the UK by leading capital optimisation initiatives and facilitating Banking Balance Sheet Forum (BBSF) discussionsSupport Parent Account Managers in GCM in onboarding and day-to-day relationship management for Leverage Finance, Sponsor-Owned and IPO prospect clients, ensuring strong partnership with ICM, Risk, GAM, IB and LevFinLead strategic projects (incl. Red Zone Review, Risk Weighted Asset Management, Forecasting and Franchise Reviews)Analyse client and franchise data and present to global and regional seniorsLiaise with NAM, LATAM and APAC GCM partners to ensure globally consistent practicesBuild strong working relationships with internal and external partnersKey Responsibilities
Provide leadership and active participation in Capital Management projects (Red Zone Review, Risk Weighted Asset Management, Forecasting, Franchise Reviews)Support deal teams in Banking Balance Sheet Forum discussions and throughout capital approval process. Review deal submissions, validate assumptions, provide recommendation and coordinate BBSF no-objection/ capital approvals, applying prudent capital management analysis and ensuring capital allocation in line with Citi Shareholder Returns TargetsActively support in onboarding and coverage of clients from a Corporate Banking perspective to help cross-sell full spectrum of Citi products and servicesResponsible for ongoing credit monitoring (evaluating public filings, research reports, operations, business plans, and financial forecasts) for clients in the portfolio, alongside IRAU and Leverage Portfolio GroupHelp develop Analyst members'' coverage and credit skillsDevelopment Value
