- We deliver specialist civil engineering for the private and public sectors across the UK, building strong relationships based on collaboration.What will you be doing?

You''ll provide the commercial function across projects to ensure successful delivery. You will work within a team of talented professionals, ensuring coordination and provision across all aspects of project delivery. Your responsibilities include:Pre-contract setup, including forecasting, measurement, sub-contract tendering, and procurement (drafting to negotiating various forms of subcontract).Managing the commercial aspects of the project, including valuations/applications, budget monitoring, material/plant reconciliation, contract variations, and change management.Preparing, managing, and negotiating Final Accounts.Procurement and management of subcontract packages, supporting other commercial team members.Producing and maintaining project forecasts to support monthly reporting.Assessing, reviewing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks.Maximising cash flow through control and valuation of works, invoicing, and payments.Managing the commercial team, developing their knowledge, and providing support and training on commercial issues.Ensuring compliance with legal, contractual, and legislative requirements, as well as company standards and procedures.What you’ll bring

Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying or relevant subject.Significant commercial experience within construction as a Senior QS or QS.Experience working on Highways and Civil Engineering projects.Strong knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts.Excellent communication skills in English.Good organisational skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and other relevant software.What’s in it for you?
