The team handles referrals and assessments involving children at risk of significant harm, ensuring the appropriate safeguarding and welfare interventions are in place. As a Deputy Team Manager, you ll play a crucial leadership role, supporting the Team Manager in supervising and guiding a team of social workers. You ll ensure that safeguarding services provided to children meet the highest standards, comply with statutory requirements, and are effectively delivered through strong supervision, performance management, and quality assurance.
