Full-time Residential Childcare Workers are expected to work within a shift pattern, that covers the home 24/7. Establishing meaningful relationships and providing practical/emotional support to the children/young people living with us. Contribute towards the provision of a secure, stable and supportive environment that enables our residents to build the life-skills and resilience needed to make the transition from living in care to living independently. 2. To maintain a high quality of care and support which meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and cultural needs of children and young people within our care. Working from the guidelines from the 1989 Children s Act, National Minimum Standards, Every Child Matters and any other relevant legislation. 3.
