Delegated Authority Assurance Technician

Overview
Delegated Authority Assurance Technician – Insurance – London – £48-55,000 D.O.E. This role is part of a newly created function to strengthen oversight and control of DA relationships within a global insurance business on a permanent basis.You will be supporting the delegated authority audit and assurance teams and assist in ensuring Outsourced Service providers comply with contractual and regulatory requirements. You will help with audit preparation, drafting reports, tracking and analysis of audit findings, and reviewing information to ensure procedures are adhered to in order to minimise risk to the business and its policyholders.Responsibilities
Audit: assist with annual audit planning and reporting; maintain audit systems and perform data quality checks; support the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely audits as per the DA Audit plan and methodology; assist in fieldwork where directed; help produce written Audit reports for Senior Management; ensure audit issues are followed up with relevant stakeholders.Assurance: assist in tracking and reviewing identified actions; produce regular MI reporting to Boards and Committees; contribute to trend analysis on audit findings; monitor and record audit results of approved Delegated Authority Arrangements and externally validated reports of OSPs; undertake Quality Assurance Reviews as part of the QA and Improvement Programme; participate in onboarding potential new Agents / Coverholders / TPAs (due diligence) when required; assist in auditing Sub-Third Party Service Providers (Sub-Agents or Sub-TPSPs) including on-site and remote fieldwork with travel as needed.Regulatory and Conduct: provide support for ad hoc requests or longer-term projects; satisfy regulatory reporting requirements in collaboration with the reporting function; ensure compliance with Munich Re''s Code of Conduct and the FCA Conduct Rules.Experience and Qualifications
Willingness to travel (within UK and overseas).Experience of Audit and Assurance within an insurance setting is ideal.Background in oversight and control is desirable.Knowledge of legal contracts is desirable.Data analysis experience.Benefits
