The RoleAs a Universal Grinder, you''ll be responsible for producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances. You''ll set, operate, and monitor Universal Grinder machine, ensuring parts are manufactured to drawing specifications, while maintaining efficiency and minimising scrap.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform precision cylindrical (ID/OD) and spherical grinding to ultra-fine tolerances.Set, operate, and maintain JandS machines and Cincinnati Milacron Heald grinders.Interpret technical engineering drawings and carry out complex wheel forming.Conduct surface grinding using diaforms and Churchill tub grinders).Skills and ExperienceStrong background in precision universal grinding across internal, external, and spherical work.Expertise with superalloys and nitride-hardened components.Advanced wheel forming and profile grinding capability.Fully certified in grinding wheel mounting and safety.ApplyTo Apply for the Universal Grinder position, please submit and up to date CV and one of our Recruitment Team will be in touch.
