Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder.. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, particularly sheet metal. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to fabricate components as per specifications.
• Assemble and fabricate metal structures and components using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project requirements.

Skills

• Proficient in various welding techniques.
• Strong experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Mechanical knowledge to understand machinery and equipment used in the fabrication process.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
