SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER - 3 months CONTRACT - HYBRID 1-2 DAYS BASED IN MANCHESTER - RATE 535 PD INSIDE IR35 - VALID SC CLEARANCE We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our busy Public sector client Key Responsibilities:Design and implement complex network topologies in AWS, ensuring resilience, scalability, high availability, and secure multi-tenancy.Configure and manage AWS networking services, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, DHCP, VPC peering, NACLs, Network Firewall, and Traffic Mirroring.Apply deep knowledge of foundational network protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and network topology design.Write and maintain Terraform scripts for network provisioning and deployment, implementing Infrastructure as Code best practices.Troubleshoot connectivity issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to optimise network performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networking solutions into complex transformation projects.Essential Skills Experience:Minimum 15+ years in networking, with extensive hands-on expertise in AWS networking and hybrid cloud environments.AWS Networking: Proven track record designing and implementing AWS network architectures leveraging core AWS networking services.Foundational Networking: Strong grasp of traditional networking concepts: topology, TCP/IP, routing, DNS, etc.Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform to automate network deployment
