Role and Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor: Take full commercial ownership of major projects, acting as the lead QS and key commercial decision-maker. Manage all aspects of cost control, procurement, and contract strategy across the project lifecycle. Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim and final accounts with clients and subcontractors. Lead on contract review, risk management, and variation negotiation. Work closely with directors and senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight and strategic input. Oversee subcontractor procurement and performance to ensure value and compliance. Monitor budgets, cash flow, and reporting, driving improvements where required. Mentor and support junior QS team members where applicable. Travel to sites nationally,
