Supply Desk is currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Bushey this September. This is a full-time teaching position, ideal for an individual with a strong commitment to promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development among young people.

Job Description:

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a variety of sports and physical activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages all students to participate and achieve their best.
• Plan, assess, and report on student progress in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
• Organise and support extra-curricular clubs, school fixtures, and inter-house competitions.
• Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing as part of a whole-school approach to student development.
• Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider school staff to share best practices and resources.
• Maintain high standards of discipline and behaviour, using positive reinforcement strategies.
• Contribute to the life of the school through participation in meetings, events, and ongoing professional development.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT (Early Career Teacher) with a PE specialism.
• Have a passion for physical education and inspiring young people to reach their full potential.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to adapt lessons for different abilities.
• Be organised, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting the schoolandrsquo;s ethos and values.
• Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students of all levels.
• Be committed to safeguarding and the welfare of all students.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a clear Enhanced DBS check.
