Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Pay rate: £13 - £15 per hour
Location: Bristol City Centre
Duration: 3 Months (temporary contract)

Our client are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented temporary accounts assistant to support the accounts payable and finance team for a 3-month period. This junior-level role is ideal for someone with basic accounts experience and a good understanding of general ledger coding and accruals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform weekly reconciliations of manual GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) codes.
- Prepare and post journals to clear other creditors upon invoice receipt.
- Liaise with team members to manually adjust accruals for development, IT capex, and capex-related items.
- Match supplier invoices to appropriate GL codes.
- Assist with general AP and finance-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

- Basic accounting knowledge or prior experience in a junior accounts/finance role.
- Familiarity with AP processes and journal entries.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, including Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members across departments.
