Around 22,000 colleagues produce quality packaging for foodstuffs, cosmetics and industrial cleaning brands for many blue-chip clients across 182 ALPLA sites in 45 countries Purpose The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for managing Health, Safety and Environment Management systems and activities across production and warehouse facilities. The HandS Manager will lead safety across the site identifying hazards, reducing risk and preventing accidents. Reporting directly into Plant Manager, supporting wider HandS Team including Coordinator and HandS Administrator Tasks and responsibilities: (Not limited to) Advise all levels of the site, providing technical support and motivating stakeholders to follow proper administration of health, safety and environmental programs. Implement ALPLA programs, apply relevant technical guidance and control physical, chemical, electrical, mechanical and ergonomic hazards and potential risk from the operations.
