Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: Erdington, West Midlands Academics are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant post-16 college in Erdington. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) as they progress through their education. This is a full time position starting immediately!Key Responsibilities:Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SENDAssist with the implementation of individual learning plansSupport students to develop independence and confidence in their learningCollaborate with teaching staff to adapt learning materials and strategiesMonitor student progress and provide feedback to the learning support teamRequirements:Minimum of 2 years'' experience supporting children and/or adults with SENDUnderstanding of different special educational needs and appropriate support strategiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexibly within a busy educational environmentA positive, patient, and proactive approach If you are passionate about supporting students with SEND and want to be part of a committed team, we would love to hear from you!
