THE ROLE To follow instructions and care plans at individual settingsTreat Service Users with respect at all timesSupport individuals with their personal hygiene and appearanceMaintain a safe environment for staff and Service UsersEncourage the independence and motivation of the Service UserSupport the Service Users to make informed choicesFeedback any necessary information to the person in chargeComplete all necessary paperworkTaking Service Users into the community and on day trips when neededProviding companionship to service users, communicating effectively with themProtecting the confidentiality of all Service Users and ClientsTo recognise signs of abuse and immediately report through the necessary channels.
