Learning Support Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming Primary school in Ipswich to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils'' learning, development, and wellbeing, helping them to achieve their full potential.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with SEN or additional needs

• Support pupils with classroom activities, engagement, and behaviour

• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and preparation

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

• Support pupils'' social, emotional, and academic development

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)

• A patient, caring, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children''s learning

• A strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection

• Right to work in the UK

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• References covering the last two years
