Outdoor Learning Support Assistant This is a part time term time position working 27.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time, plus INSET days) Salary: BTCT points 3, Actual starting salary £15,225.47 per annum This is a permanent role The Apex centre is an offsite provision proving support and intervention services to vulnerable students attending schools within Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust. Catering for students aged 5-16 set in its own 22-acre site with a small holding, gardens, and Forest school. We are seeking to appoint an Outdoor Learning Support Assistant to join our team of support and teaching staff, who are responsible for developing the skills and unlocking the potential of young people who are at risk of permanent exclusion from their educational setting. This is a chance to work in a new and exciting provision providing a bespoke curriculum to match each individual learners needs. The post includes mostly working outdoors in the gardens, forest school or with our small collection of animals.
