Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

to take ownership of complex, high-integrity design projects that support global defence and civil aviation programmes.Youll be responsible for full lifecycle mechanical design, from initial concepts through to final delivery, on a range of mission-critical products used in airborne environments.Youll work on the development of aerospace systems, leading design activity and supporting the wider engineering team. Expect a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise will directly shape high-performance solutions.Deliver detailed mechanical designs using 2D/3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)Conduct FEA and CFD simulations to validate performance and structural integrityAct as Lead Engineer on key projects, with responsibility for cost, schedule, and qualityProvide technical guidance to junior engineers and drive continuous improvementDegree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)-Proven track record of delivering mechanical design solutions through the full product lifecycle- Comfortable leading projects and working cross-functionally in a multi-disciplinary team
