Recent examples of major initiatives the team have been involved in are enhancing Cyber Security, delivering transformations to our customer facing services like Revenue Collection and End User Computing, and internal systems that keep our business running, such as a complete refresh of our entire Datacenter Networks and Wireless Infrastructure across the London Underground. You will develop new solutions in Public and Private Cloud to deliver these and many more key initiatives.You’ll be supported by the Project Manager, Business Analyst, Development Solution Architecture and Test Teams to explore high and low-level designs, before seeing your infrastructure successfully deployed and put into operation. Data centre networks including public and private cloud (e.g. Network technologies including firewall, switching, routing and proxy (e.g. F5 VPN and Load Balancing, Citrix Netscaler VPN and Load Balancing, Cisco (Firewalls, Routing, Switching and Wireless LAN controllers), Checkpoint Firewalls, Juniper Firewalls, Forcepolnt Proxy, Azure and AWS constructs)Network monitoring (e.g. IT vs Operational Technology and the differing requirements for eachManaging contractual issues in a project environmentProject management tools and techniquesStrong infrastructure architecture skills in architecting technology components across software, infrastructure and networks.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people within a broad group of stakeholders including project managers, business analysts, developers, engineers and testers.Final salary pension scheme- Free travel for you on the TfL network- Reimbursement of 75% of the cost of a standard class Ticket for National Rail travel from home or 75% reimbursement on a 28-day flexi ticket-30 days annual leave plus public and bank holidays- TfL is committed to work-life balance, operating a hybrid working approach where business and role requirements allow- Private healthcare discounted scheme (optional)- Tax-efficient cycle-to-work programme- Retail, health, leisure and travel offers- Discounted Eurostar travel
