Part-Time Reception Teaching Assistant
Location: Mainstream Primary School - South West London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long-term, Academic Year
Days: 1 day per week (every Wednesday) (8:30am to 3:45pm)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school on a part-time basis. (8:30am to 3:45pm) This long-term role runs for the full academic year and will involve supporting children in their crucial early learning journey.

The Role:

• Working every Wednesday in Reception class

• Supporting pupils with their learning, play and social development

• Assisting the class teacher with daily activities and routines

• Helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment

The Candidate:

• Must have prior experience working with Reception-age children

• A Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification is preferred.

• Patient, caring and confident when supporting young learners

• Committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils
