Reporting to and supporting the Finance Director, you will be involved in a mixture of accounting tasks including:- Supporting with monthly management accounts preparation- Support with month-end and year-end close processes- Responsibility for the purchase and sales ledgers- Bank reconciliations- Assist with VAT returns- Liaise with external auditors, suppliers and stakeholders.- Process review and improvementWhat you''ll need to succeed Due to this being a newly created role, this could suit an active AAT Level 4 / CIMA / ACCA studier looking to develop further or an individual with proven experience in a similar role looking for a new challenge and change of environment. Experience of supporting with management accounts preparation, including accruals/prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations will be key.
