Warehouse Operative

Location: Shefford
Basis: Permanent
Working hours: Rotational Shifts (Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm)
Salary: £25,815
 
Our well established client based in Shefford are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a Permanent basis. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with Warehouse and/or Manufacturing experience to hit the ground running and work strongly within their team.
 
Main responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:
- To pick and dispatch customer orders from the warehouse to a high quality standard
- Processing and checking delivery/order sheets, where strong attention to detail is needed
- Follow and adhere to strict Health & Safety regulations
- Checking incoming components for quantity and integrity, storing them in their correct locations
- Loading and unloading lorries/vans using Forklift Truck
- Quality inspection on all finished production readied to be dispatched
 
What''s needed as a Warehouse Operative:
- Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence
- Previous experience working within a Warehouse and/or Manufacturing environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Basic IT skills
- Full UK drivers licence, as you may be required to travel to the company''s Bedford site
- Self motivated and driven, with the determination to succeed and achieve goals and company aspirations
