We are seeking a flexible, organised and sociable General and Domestic Assistant to join our small friendly team at Woodcraft Folk''s Cudham Centre, located in three acres of beautiful woodland on the edge of the North Downs in Kent. You''ll join us on a part-time, permanent basis, and, in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £14.01 per hour. Hours: Term Time only, 5 hours per week, typically Mondays. Please note that some occasional lone working, evening and weekend shifts may be expected. About the General and Domestic Assistant role As our General and Domestic Assistant, you will undertake a range of practical and operational duties maintaining the centre to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety. You will work collaboratively in delivering a professional, inclusive and responsive service, ensuring customer service excellence and uphold and promote the values and aims of Woodcraft Folk, As our General and Domestic Assistant your responsibilities will include: To undertake housekeeping duties including cleaning of both internal and external areas of the site To assist with laundry requirements at the Centre To ensure that centre cleaning equipment is maintained (and all faults reported) and that the centre has at all times appropriate cleaning materials and supplies paying due regard for the Health and Safety and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations To undertake where appropriate light maintenance duties of the centre
