Production Operative

Production Operatives required in Ledbury, Working Monday to Friday, 05:30/06:00 to 14:00 & 14:00 to 22:30, rotating weekly. Paying £12.25 per hour and overtime £15.32 per hour, This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent contract with immediate start for the right candidate. Are you looking for a long-term opportunity with training and development in the manufacturing and production industry? We are actively seeking dedicated and reliable Production Operatives to join our client’s team at a well-established food packing site in Ledbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are hard-working, eager to learn, and looking to grow within the food manufacturing sector. Full training is provided – no previous experience in food production is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating within a fast-paced food production facility, primarily focused on packaging and handling food products.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the production area to comply with food safety regulations.
- Assisting with general production duties, including loading, weighing, and labelling.
- Working efficiently as part of a team in a cold chilled good environment (protective clothing and PPE provided).
- This is a rotational shift Monday to Friday, alternating weekly between:
- Morning Shift: 05:30/06:00 – 14:00
- Afternoon Shift: 14:00 – 22:30
- Competitive pay starting at £12.25 per hour with weekly or monthly pay options.
- Overtime 48 hours worked: £15.32 per hour
- Full training and ongoing support to help you succeed.
- Breaks: 30min unpaid break and one paid breaks.

- Company-provided uniform and full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be comfortable working in food environments, as this is essential to the role.
- Must be comfortable working in a chilled goods environment (Protective warm clothing provided)
- A basic level of English is required to understand safety instructions and production processes.
- Must be physically fit, with the ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
