Class 1 Driver

Shift times: Monday - Friday earliest 06:45am starts
Contract: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £15.29 per hour (plus OT whenever available)

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding andamp; Full truckload transport. We are currently recruiting LGV CE Curtainsiders Drivers to join our team in Ferrybridge, working for one of the world''s leading transportation clients. You will be working Monday to Friday on average 40-45 hours per week. We are offering £15.29 per hour. What you''ll do on a typical day:

• Making sure all goods are correctly strapped before commencing journeys - all goods will be strapped and loaded by our team of warehouse operatives.
• You will deliver insulation products to our customer locations across the UK making 1 to 3 drops per day.
• At each client location you will be offloaded by the customer where you will need to ensure any remaining loads are securely strapped in.
• At each client location you will need to ensure all paperwork is signed for before leaving the site.
• We expect you to professionally drive our HGV Class 1 Vehicles
• We expect you to operate to FORS Gold level safety standards

What you need to succeed:

• Valid LGV C+E Licence
• Minimum of 12 months experience
• You will need the following bits of PPE: Safety boots / Hi Viz andamp; Safety glasses
• A customer facing professional but pleasant attitude
• An up-to-date CPC and DIGI card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence
