SENIOR/PRINCIPAL CIVIL ENGINEER - NUCLEARHybrid working Bristol with some flexibility 12 month inital contractWe are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to work on the design of nuclear powerplants, as well as our future pipeline of projects. You will provide your civil expertise to successfully deliver our projects, in collaboration with clients, contractors, stakeholders and our project teams. The key responsibilities will include a selection of the following points, depending on your technical experience and the position you take within our team: - Providing technical leadership and team management to deliver work packages effectively. - Coordinating and communicating on complex engineering problems between project stakeholders. - Providing technical review and responding to site queries and requested changes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to support contractor activities on HPC site. - Conduct and review analysis of structures carried out in FEM packages (experience in using Ansys beneficial). - Provide technical oversight of reinforcement detailers and review detailing models and drawings. - Provide expert oversight and technical direction to teams completing the design of reinforced concrete structures. - Developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. - Supporting the business development team during the tendering process for our future project stream.
