Job DescriptionAs a Quality Compliance Officer at Cappagh Contractors, you will ensure that all clean water framework activities meet relevant quality standards and comply with company, client, and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining Cappagh’s reputation for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality infrastructure within the water sector.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor and evaluate project activities to ensure compliance with company quality standards, clients’ specifications, and industry regulations.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, identifying any non- conformances and recommending corrective actions.Maintain and update quality management systems and documentation to reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements.Support the development and review of method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality documentation for projects.Coordinate and facilitate internal and external quality audits, supporting teams in closing out corrective actions.Liaise with site teams, project managers, and external stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are understood and met.Assist in the training of site and project staff on quality control processes, standards, and compliance procedures.Report on quality metrics, prepare compliance reports, and highlight areas for improvement.Investigate and report any quality incidents, non-conformities, or deviations from standards, ensuring appropriate action is taken and lessons are captured for future improvements.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality standards across the framework.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a quality assurance, compliance, or similar role within construction, utilities, or the water sector.Strong understanding of quality management systems (such as ISO 9001) and audit processes.Good knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to clean water infrastructure.Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail and an analytical mindset.Strong communication skills, able to explain quality requirements and procedures to site and project teams.IT literate, comfortable with reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.QualificationsNEBOSH, IOSH or similar health and safety qualifications advantageous.Experience with audit methodologies and relevant industry accreditations desirable.About Cappagh ContractorsCappagh Contractors is a respected civil engineering company specialising in utilities and water sector projects.
