Payroll and HR Manager Halifax £45,000 - £50,000 Full Time Permanent Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Flexible Fully Office Based The Opportunity JGA are exclusively partnering with an established multi-site organisation seeking an experienced Payroll and HR Manager to take full ownership of the payroll function whilst overseeing day-to-day HR operations. This is a hands-on, standalone role suited to a confident payroll professional with strong HR knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment. Key Responsibilities Payroll Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processingOversee weekly payroll (processed by Payroll Administrator) and provide holiday coverMaintain payroll records including starters, leavers, pay changes and deductionsProcess statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP)Administer pension contributions and auto-enrolment complianceComplete RTI submissions (FPS, EPS) and year-end processes (P60, P45, P11D)Reconcile payroll reports with FinanceEnsure compliance with HMRC regulations, NMW, NI and UK legislationManage payroll queries professionally and confidentially HR Oversee the full employee lifecycleDraft contracts, offer letters and employment documentationMaintain HR records and personnel filesSupport managers with absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance mattersEnsure HR policies remain compliant with current employment legislationTrack leave, sickness and attendance recordsCoordinate right-to-work checks and compliance documentation Repo
