About the Role:
Supply Desk is seeking a passionate and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Watford starting this September. This is a full-time position offering a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students in the exciting world of Design and Technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress regularly.
- Support studentsandrsquo; development of practical skills, safe use of tools, and design thinking.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, including technicians and other subject teachers.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and promote the subject across the school.
- Maintain health and safety standards in the workshop and classroom.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for practical, hands-on learning.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check if not already held.
