Job Description:


  • Support teaching and learning across the school, deliveringandnbsp;targeted interventions,andnbsp;small group work, andandnbsp;whole-class coverandnbsp;when required andndash; youandrsquo;ll be the right-hand star of the classroom!
  • Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliverandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;differentiated activitiesandnbsp;that meet the needs of all learners
  • Provideandnbsp;pastoral supportandnbsp;and help pupils develop theirandnbsp;confidence,andnbsp;independence, andandnbsp;resilience
  • Use a range ofandnbsp;assessment strategiesandnbsp;to monitor progress and inform next steps andndash; because every childandrsquo;s learning journey deserves a map
  • Support pupils withandnbsp;SEND,andnbsp;EAL, or additional needs, ensuring every child has the tools to succeed
  • Contribute to the wider school community throughandnbsp;clubs,andnbsp;events, andandnbsp;collaborative projects

The Ideal Candidate Will:


  • Holdandnbsp;HLTA statusandnbsp;or be an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step (desirable but not essential)
  • Beandnbsp;enthusiastic,andnbsp;organised, andandnbsp;adaptable, with a can-do attitude and a love of learning
  • Have experience working with children in aandnbsp;secondary school setting, ideally across multiple year groups
  • Be confident in leading learning, managing behaviour positively, and supporting a range of needs
  • Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;inclusive practice, andandnbsp;child wellbeing
  • Be a team player whoandrsquo;s always ready to lend a hand andndash; or a glue stick!
