About the Role:
Werenth Primary School (Pinnacle) is seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students on a one-to-one basis and small groups. This is a long-term opportunity providing consistent support for the remainder of the academic year.

You will play a vital role in supporting the student’s learning, communication, and emotional needs, working closely with teaching staff and the SEN team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a non-verbal student

• Support communication using appropriate strategies and tools

• Assist with learning activities and engagement

• Follow EHCP and individual support plans

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 experience preferred)

• Be patient, reliable, and proactive

• Have experience with non-verbal students (PECS, Makaton, or similar desirable)

• Be able to commit for the remainder of the academic year
