Registered Manager Children s Residential Home Staffordshire Stephen James Consulting is partnering with a growing care provider to recruit experienced Registered Managers for children s residential homes across the Staffordshire area. These homes support young people with learning disabilities and emotional and behavioural difficulties (LD/EBD), offering a structured and nurturing environment focused on positive outcomes and high-quality care. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day running of a children s residential home Ensure safeguarding and care standards are maintained in line with Ofsted regulations Lead, mentor, and support the staff team Drive positive outcomes for young people through effective leadership Manage compliance, audits, and operational requirements Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and external agencies Requirements: Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children s residential setting At least 3 years combined experience across Deputy Manager and Registered Manager positions Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and Ofsted standards Experience supporting young people with LD/EBD Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or working towards) Confident leadership style with a hands-on approach to management These opportunities are based within small homes, providing a supportive environment with a strong focus on quality care and outcomes. This role offers a salary of: Up to £60,000 depending on experience.
