They''re looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join on a contract basis (outside IR35), contributing to a key phase of a high-reliability hardware programme.This is an opportunity to apply your FPGA expertise on Real Time, Embedded systems that demand precision, integrity, and certification-ready design.Key Responsibilities:Full life cycle FPGA development using VHDL - from architecture and coding through to simulation and testbench creationWork to stringent quality and traceability standards, including DO-254 complianceClose collaboration with hardware, software, and systems engineers to integrate FPGA designs into wider platformsDocumentation and technical reporting to meet project milestones and certification needsEssential Skills:Strong hands-on experience with FPGA development in VHDLPrevious work on safety-critical or high-reliability systemsDO-254 experience - ideally delivering DAL B or C designsFamiliarity with verification methodologies and simulation tools (eg ModelSim, Vivado, etc.)Able to work autonomously in a multi-disciplinary teamContract Details:Outside IR35Initial 6-month engagement with likely extensionHybrid working - 2 Days Per Week OnsitePlease apply for immediate consideration.
