Our client, a successful architectural practice, with over 50 years of history and a number of offices across the UK are seeking a talented Senior Architectural Technologist to join their expanding office in Birmingham. These are projects are primarily larger scale Commercial / Industrial projects so experience in either sector would be advantageous. Our client is a Revit using practice, so experience with the software is essential.

• Opportunity to run projects at varying stages.
• Work within the Commercial, Mixed-Use and Industrial sectors.
• Collaborate with clients and consultant to manage projects efficiently.
• Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction.
• Liaise with clients and develop key relationships.
• Production of construction stage drawings in Revit.
• Production of technical packs, including General arrangement drawings and technical details.
• Working in small project-based teams within the office and digitally across offices.
• Visiting site and external organisations'' offices for Design Team Meetings, site reviews, snagging and client and/or contractor meetings.
• Taking early-stage client briefs and developing these into design responses.
• Producing feasibility studies to tight deadlines, to enable the client to make informed decisions.
• Producing information packs for planning which meet the local requirements.
• Leading on the production of Design & Access statements and planning approval requirements.
• Working on tender drawings, ensuring the project retains its design through value engineering and variations to the brief.

• 5 years + industry experience
• Ability to action a client brief
• Live within a commutable distance of Birmingham
• Good Revit knowledge
• Strong Commercial or Industrial experience, highly advantageous
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Ability to work well in a small project team
