Please let us know if you would like to discuss these options What you''ll be doing: Apply depth and breadth of Manufacturing Engineering knowledge and experience to Support/undertake development in the following disciplines: Electromechanical assembly Interpret production drawing data to identify and generate: Tooling requirements, Manufacturing process requirements, handling and safety requirements, estimation of assembly times, methods/routings Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions, effective/efficient/practical shopfloor layouts Conduct the following health and safety related activities: Risk, COSHH, PUWER, Manual handling assessments Undertake technical liaison with sub-contractors and customers Develop training packages to ensure modern technologies and processes are understood and correctly implemented Work alongside development teams to ensure Design for Manufacture is considered for all new products Your skills and experiences: Experience of working in a Manufacturing Environment Requires a good understanding in MRP/ERP systems Excellent understanding of Production Engineering principles An ability to read and understand engineering drawings, circuit diagrams etc .
