The Role

As Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design process from concept through to delivery. Working closely with clients, consultants, and project teams, you will ensure all design work meets technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the design process across multiple fit out projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

• Coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges.

• Reviewing drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.

• Acting as the key liaison between design and construction teams.

• Driving value engineering solutions without compromising quality.

• Supporting business development with technical input during tender stages.

The Candidate

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional with:

• A degree in engineering (civil, structural, mechanical, or similar).

• Proven experience as a Design Manager (or similar role) within construction or fit out.

• Strong knowledge of building regulations, design standards, and construction processes.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• The ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
