My client, an independent, innovative multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to join their experienced team of drainage and highways engineers, based near the lively city of Swansea, located on the beautiful Gower Peninsula. Essential Criteria:Chartered Engineer or Near Chartered Status (MICE or similar recognised body)Extensive experience of commercial/industrial experience within engineering consultancyBachelor''s or Master''s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a minimum of an Upper Second Class (2.1) HonoursCommercial awareness when dealing with a range of clients across the sectorExperience of managing a variety of complex projectsGood working knowledge of structural analysis and design involving steel, concrete masonry, and timberExcellent knowledge of the relevant design standards (e.g. British Standards and Eurocodes, etc.)Experience of commercial building designDemonstrable experience of SuDS Design and the SAB application processKnowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g. S104, S185, S38, S278, etc.)Excellent knowledge of computer aided design software (e.g. STAADPro, AutoCAD, etc.)Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Adobe AcrobatFull, valid UK Driving Licence It would also benefit applicants for the role of Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to possess the following skills: Experience of highways design specialisms, including drainage, street lighting, traffic signals, etc.Knowled
