About the Role

Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Liverpool from September 2025. This full-time role runs for the academic year and offers the chance to make a lasting impact at the start of children''s educational journey.

Role and Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework.

• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.

• Support pupils'' social, emotional, and communication development.

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth.

• Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse needs.

• Collaborate with the EYFS team, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure inclusion.

• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment.

• Contribute to school life through events, enrichment activities, and planning.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Experience or strong interest in teaching EYFS.

• Knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and early years pedagogy.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage and inspire learners.

• Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.

• Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain).

This is a temporary position, although permanent opportunities may become available in some cases.
