Overview
We are seeking skilled HGV & LCV Technicians to join our clients dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy goods and light commercial vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics. Your expertise will contribute to their commitment to providing exceptional service and reliability to their clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on HGVs / LCVs
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform scheduled servicing and repairs efficiently while adhering to company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Assist in training junior technicians as required, sharing knowledge of best practices in vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HGV or LCV Technician.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a thorough understanding of vehicle systems.
• Valid driving license; commercial driving experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance are preferred but not essential.

We have opportunities on-day-and-night-shifts for this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: -16.0022.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
