Do you have experience working within Payroll and looking for a new job in the York area? Are you available to start a maternity contract for circa 9 months? We are working for a well established manufacturing business in York who are looking for a payroll person to join their well-established and friendly finance team. Working in a small payroll team, you will be supporting with the processing of 2 payrolls for up to 400 employees. We are looking for someone who is willing to work full or part time for this maternity contract. What the Payroll Job Involves? Working in a small payroll team you will be processing 2 payrolls for hourly and salaried staff on a monthly basis. Processing starters and leavers including P45 s and New Starter Checklists for HMRC. Calculating holiday pay in line with current legislation as well as assessing entitlement to statutory payments, such as SMP, SPP, MSP and SSP. You will also be responsible for uploading pension contributions to their pension provider. Processing PAYE payments as well as meeting HMRC submission deadlines. Producing P11d s, P60 s, P45 s and any other Tax related documents. Calculating overtime payments with hourly uplifts, bonus payments and salary sacrifice entitlements such as company cars etc. Skills required: Experience in payroll is essential, although it can be from any industry or sector.
