We’re on a mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution. We’re looking for smart meter engineers with a track record of safety and customer excellence. You’ll represent our brands in customers’ homes, combining friendly customer interactions with installation work.You’ll be fitting meters, showing customers how their meter and in-home display work, how it can help them save energy, and answering questions about the green energy revolution we are leading. You’ll be supported by the Octopus Energy Services team and backed by Octopus Energy’s tech power to reduce admin time and focus on delivering great service.Responsibilities

Fit smart meters and show customers how their meter and in-home display work.Explain how the meter can help customers save energy and answer questions about the energy transition.Represent Octopus Energy brands in customers’ homes with a focus on safety and customer excellence.Collaborate with the office team to align on performance goals and deliver top-class service.What you’ll need

MOCoPA (held within the last 3 years) and provide evidenceGas Safe – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 pointsWhat we offer

Rotating call-out schedule (every five weeks) with a £250 retainer; paid door-to-door if called outSaturday rates: £50 attendance, £70 for a dual-fuel installation, £35 for a single-fuel installation; technical aborts paid at half rateNext steps
