Vital are working with a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out company Job Details Mechanical Supervisor required for a long-term commercial building services project / site near Newquay, Cornwall Start Date: ASAPSite hours: 43 hrs basic Mon FriDuration: 24 months plusDuties: Supervision of a mechanical trades team on a commercial building services government defence project. Your duties will include:- Supervising and managing labour, including sub contractors and direct staff - Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members- Monitoring work progress and ensuring deadlines are met- Providing guidance and support to team members- Ensuring a high standard of work- Implementing Health and Safety in a positive manor, PPE, RAMS etcCandidates expected to undertake a security clearance check.Requirements: SSSTS Certification (or SMSTS), Mechanical trade accreditation: Skillcard, JIB, etc Experience of working in a defence environment is advantageous Time served / apprenticed mechanically with relevant supervisory experience working with an established building services / mechanical contractor.Must be able to pass SC clearance If you do not hear from us within seven days, then your application has not been successful on this occasion.
