Successful High Volume Cool Bar and Restaurant OperationLocation: Watford areaSalary: Up to £50,000 depending on experienceBenefits: Quarterly and annual bonus, TRONC and numerous benefitsMy client is a highly successful operator with a portfolio of high-performing , quality branded bar and restaurants. They are seeking an experienced General Manager with ability to run a high volume quality branded restaurant and bar located in a busy location close to Watford. The operation has consistent regular trade and a thriving Christmas and summer trade.The operation is high volume and has an even 60/40 split wet/dry, serving a menu of high-quality fresh dishes alongside a busy bar with amazing cocktails, quality wines and beers. The restaurant is very busy with customers visiting for brunch, lunch and dinner, or enjoying drinks into the evening at the buzzing bar . The operation is busy into the evening and opens a little later at the weekends (but NOT late night) and is also a popular after work destination. The operation has almost a cool modern pub/restaurant feel, warm and welcoming at the bar whilst also serving great food.The successful candidate will oversee daily operations of the very busy restaurant and bar, ensuring high standards of service and food quality are maintained at all times, managing profit, driving sales, optimizing costs whilst maintaining the company''s fantastic culture.What are we looking for ?Previous experience as General Manager of a high volume, quality branded bar and restaurant operation.The successful candidate MUST be able to manage a business with a fairly even 60/40 or 55/45 split of food/drink and the service style that accompanies this and must have previous experience of doing this.The successful; candidate must be passionate about what they do, really believe in the company and the brand and understand the culture of the business.A strong leader who is capable of managing the business through a positive period of growth and transformation, ensuring its unrivalled reputation is maintaining whilst motivating and developing a strong team.The ability to run a high volume, thriving business with good people and to continue to drive it further.A motivational General Manager with a transparent management style and the ability to share best practice and make key decisions within the business, ensuring the company culture is protected at all times.Happy to be hands-on and understand what is needed when running a busy shift, leading by example.A bright, friendly personality with great communication skills and the ability to manage both upwards and downwards.A commitment to ensuring that customers have a great guest experience, fantastic food and drinks with amazing service every time they visit.Fully P and L accountable with an understanding of how to drive sales without compromising on service or company culture.Whats on Offer ?The starting salary for this role is up to around £50,000 depending on experience and suitability.
