Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher – Hertfordshire

About Our Clients

Our clients are all well-established mainstream and special schools in Hertfordshire dedicated to providing tailored educational experiences for children with a range of special educational needs. They emphasise individualised learning plans, fostering independence, and promoting emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalised learning programmes in line with students' specific needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to support student development.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to pupil progress and behaviour.
• Promote positive behaviour and social skills within the classroom setting.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience or a strong interest in working with children with special educational needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A compassionate and patient approach to teaching and student engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A proactive attitude towards professional development and inclusive education.
