This role is central to shaping and strengthening financial strategy, ensuring sustainable service delivery, and supporting long-term organisational priorities.About the RoleYou''ll lead the finance function and oversee the development of short-, medium- and long-term financial strategies. You will work as part of the senior leadership team, offering insight and strategic counsel to support sound decision-making across the organisation.Your remit will include budget setting, forecasting, compliance, and performance reporting-alongside a focus on delivering value for money and identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies. You will also lead the finance and administration teams, supporting the organisation''s drive for high-quality, high-impact services.Key Skills andamp; Experience:Fully qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Strong senior-level experience in public sector financeTrack record of shaping financial strategies and managing complex budgetsProven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders and boardsComfortable operating in fast-paced, regulated environments
