Deskside Support Engineer

Job Description
As a Deskside Support engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining an organisation''s computer systems and hardware. Your duties include diagnosing hardware or software faults and resolving issues either in person or remotely.This role covers multiple clients and sites, so a driving license and vehicle are required. The areas covered are Enfield, London, and Medway.Language Requirements
The minimum CEFR level of English needed for this role is B2.Role Requirements
We seek a customer-focused and enthusiastic desk-side technician with a genuine interest in solving IT issues. The candidate should be technically competent, possess excellent written and face-to-face communication skills, and be willing to collaborate with the wider Global IT support teams.Daily activities include resolving a variety of laptop software and hardware issues, while minimizing disruption to users.IT Technical Skills
At least 3-5 years of IT experience in an ITIL environmentProviding 1st and 2nd level support for laptops/desktopsMonitoring call management systems, including continuous updates and closure of resolved callsStrictly meeting all Service Level AgreementsAdhering to all policies and procedures set by the customerSupporting Walk-in Service Centre, installs, breakfix, refresh, training rooms, conference rooms/AV support as requiredTroubleshooting Office Software issues, including support for common software problems within the Office SuiteProviding proactive support to customersParticipating in project-based assignments as requiredParticipating in hardware/OS refresh activities following strict PC refresh schedulesDocumenting and updating processes and proceduresParticipating in maintenance schedules, logging, and resolving issuesAttending all team meetingsGood asset management skillsSoft Skills
