Heating Engineer - Boilers & Air Source Heat Pumps - Manufacturer

OverviewNature of Work: Purely scheduled/planned service and maintenance in a concentrated local region with a maximum 30 minutes travel time. Location: Guildford (service area up to 30 minutes travel time). Industry: Boilers, air source heat pumps (ASHPs), GSHPs, renewables, domestic heating, FGAS, electrics, gas boilers, oil burners.

Benefits: £45k - £50k, flexible overtime if desired, 42 hours per week (door to door), no weekend rota, no call out (all scheduled/planned), new van and tools.
The PositionThis brand-new Heating Service Engineer position is created due to growth and works directly for one of the UK’s leading Heating Manufacturers. You will maintain boilers and an increasing number of air source heat pumps on residential housing projects, including new build housing developments with housebuilders, social housing schemes, local authorities, and housing associations.
Responsibilities
Maintain boilers and air source heat pumps on residential projects (new builds and retrofits).
Service, fault finding and repair work on ASHPs and boilers, with knowledge of heating and plumbing systems.
Work on projects including housing developments, local authorities and housing associations.
Package
£45k - £50k + flexible overtime (optional).
42 hours per week (door to door), no weekend rota and no call out – all scheduled/planned.
Company van.

Experience and Qualifications
Extensive experience in plumbing and heating, either install or service of domestic or commercial unvented hot water systems incorporating boilers and/or heat pumps (ASHPs or GSHPs) or other renewables (solar PV, heat recovery, underfloor heating).
Recognised training/qualifications such as City and Guilds plumbing and heating, BPEC, unvented hot water systems, FGAS, boiler training, heat pumps and electrical training are an advantage.
If you have no ASHP experience but are a highly experienced boiler service technician, please apply.
