Payroll Specialist (Temp)

The Payroll Specialist (Temp) will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing within the accounting and finance department. They are committed to maintaining high standards and delivering reliable services to their clients.DescriptionProvide payroll services to portfolio of clients varying in size and complexityProcess payrolls on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis (or as directed)Process starters and leavers, calculating statutory payments, RTI submissions, pension deductions etc.Set up PAYE scheme with HMRC and cease schemes when neededAct as primary contact with HMRC for all PAYE related mattersCalculating auto enrolment pension deductions and ensuring complianceUploading pension contributions and starters to appropriate pension portalsBACS files submissionSubmit HMRC RTI information, FPS and EPS ensuring deadlines are metPreparation of P45s, P60s, Starter Declarations and other relevant forms as requiredLiaise directly with clients to ensure accuracy of payroll data and answer phone queries, resolve problems and provide payroll supportCommunicate with clients, other staff, Directors and the HM Revenue and CustomsSupport clients in the day to day running of payroll
