Area Sales Manager role covering South London and South East, selling a distributed range of low voltage electrical equipment including consumer units, main switches, RCBO, MCB, RCD, surge protection devices, industrial plugs and sockets, and rotary isolator switches. Part of a field sales team with a focus on electrical wholesalers.Responsibilities

Field sales position selling a distributed range low voltage electrical equipment including: consumer units, main switch, RCBO, MCB, RCD, surge protection devices, industrial plugs and sockets and rotary isolator switches90% of time selling into electrical wholesalers10% stimulating demand with electrical contractors, electrical installers and end usersGrow the area turnover from approx. £150,000 to £400,000 in 2026Initially responsible for approx. 40 open accounts, with about 20 actively spendingRecruit and onboard 2 new electrical wholesale customer accounts per month4 days a week on the road, circa 6 visits per day1 day working from home / administrationRequirements / Ideal Candidate

Field sales experience within the electrical sector (ideally)Knowledge of low voltage electrical products (preferable)Experience selling into electrical wholesale customers; ideally worked for a low voltage manufacturerMay consider someone currently working for an electrical wholesaler looking to progress into field salesProven track record of sales / business developmentDemonstrable track record in new business and account managementPersonable, team player, driven and enthusiasticAbout the Company
