Abatec is assisting a Tier-1 contractor on the AMP8 Framework with the recruitment of a Freelance Project Manager. The successful candidate will have worked within the water sector and have experience of multi-disciplinary water and wastewater treatment works. This will integrate into the project delivery team and will include client facing factors. As a Freelance Project Manager, you will: Review and development of management pathways including subsequent reporting Management of design consultants and Tier 1 contractors Management of whole life cycle pre-construction to handover of projects Reporting internally on finance and programme. Engagement with communication team with both internal and external stakeholders Managing change control. Our client requires a Freelance Project Manager with: A background of working on water/utilities frameworks. A good understating of construction health and safety protocols i.e. Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Excellent communication, planning and organisation skills. CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Full driving license to travel between sites.
